Further Information: Derived from Fallbrook, California , by WL Rouit. Introduced in 1941 by a selection made in 1926. Opens October to December in Valley San Gabriel, Ca .; and in January-February in Ventura County , Ca. Tree; consistent producer; tougher than the Fuerte. Commercial variety. Fruits are oval \/ pear shaped with waxy bumps on the skin. General avocados contain a lot of fiber and very little sugar. They also contain FODMAP, short chain carbohydrate which can cause unpleasant symptoms of the digestive tract in some people. Rich in monounsaturated fats, avocado has a smooth and creamy texture. They are much higher in fat than most other fruits.Avocados have a unique nutritional profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Variety Avocado Greece\/Crete Zutano-chania.\u00a0Tree vivid, high orthoklado, productive and resistant to cold.\u00a0Because the amount is subject to risks from strong wind.\u00a0They ripen fruit in October December.\u00a0The fruit is small (170 – 200 gr.), Pyriform, husks green, smooth and thin.\u00a0Semen is thin (40 gr.) .\u00a0The fruit quality is good and has good resistance to transport.\u00a0Avocado is considered medium quality.\u00a0About Fat Avocado oil is an excellent source of “good” fats, which have beneficial effects in inflammation.\u00a0As a rich source of monounsaturated fatty acids , the avocado is a very unusual fruit.\u00a0The most abundant fatty acid is oleic acid , which is also the main component of the oil.
